#Week 2: Quadblogging 2015

#QuadBlogging2015 is an excellent opportunity for our learners to connect to other pretty neat classes full of some pretty neat learners & teachers.

 How it Works:
We sign up and are sorted into a cohort with similar year level classroom blogs. Each class agrees to post & comment to their own blogs & the blogs of the other classes. Simple. Week 1: My class visited the class & student blogs of Room 3 (see our side bar link). My learners were impressed with the learning that was going on in another class in NZ.

Check out our Quadblogging Blogs by using the side bar links.
 Learners in the Clan:
Remember to visit & comment on the blogs we have already visited. Remember to use the comment policy and guidelines in class to create fabulous comments & blog posts.
Your Aim: Make a connection and start a conversation. Ask a question - they cost nothing.

#Week 2: #NZReadAloud

26+ classes across New Zealand. 150+ learners & teachers. 1 book to bring us all together.
We are excited to be taking part in the 2nd NzReadAloud. So far, we have all signed into Edmodo and joined a range of small groups with readers throughout New Zealand. The discussion about the book has been excellent with a range of different activities and technologies in use. The book to bring us all together

#Term 2:Week 1-KidsEdchat

Our whole clan of 50 learners completed the team building activities for the Week 2 Kidsedchat. As tribe leaders, we mixed all learners into teacher selected groups. After much grumbles, all groups got stuck in and worked on the task.

What we observed: Lots of discussion, trial & error, surprise leaders, helpful helpers, confusion, competitiveness, problem solving.
